Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a sorter/quality monitor to oversee automated measuring, sorting, and inspection of poultry products at our North Carolina facilities. You will weigh product to verify quantity and quality and monitor machines for proper operation.

Responsibilities include continuously verifying product attributes, reporting malfunctions, following USDA/HACCP/GMP policies, and upholding safety guidelines while supporting Mountaire's commitment to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in poultry manufacturing processing and equipment preferred.
• Must complete NPIS Sorter training which includes modules and a final assessment.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor product attributes to ensure that product quality meets or exceeds required levels.
• Observe equipment operation and notify the appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Ability to follow all USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and GMP policies and guidelines.
• Able to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Follow all Company safety policies, S.O.P. regulations, as well as support Goal Zero mission statement.
