Job summary

Jabil in Florence, KY seeks an Industrial Engineering NPI Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for New Product Introduction within an IE context. You will ensure manufacturing teams master Lean, line balancing, time studies, and capacity planning.

You will coach teams, evaluate training impact, and collaborate with IE, Manufacturing, Ops, and PM groups to close gaps and keep content cutting-edge.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, time studies, line balancing, and capacity planning.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with related software.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in training and development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update training modules and materials for NPI processes.
• Conduct training sessions for engineers, operators, supervisors, and others on the floor or in classroom.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with IE, Manufacturing, Operations, and PM teams to address training gaps.
• Provide hands-on coaching during NPI launches.
• Stay current with industry practices and Jabil NPI methodologies.
• Develop and maintain training documentation system.
• Act as SME for NPI industrial engineering principles.
