Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Solution Introduction Engineer – Feature Tester to verify RF, software, and radio features in lab and cloud environments before they reach customer networks.

You will design test cases from product requirements, configure labs, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Python, RF concepts, and understanding of 4G/5G NR will help you contribute to an AI‑enabled testing workflow and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Typically 2–8 years of hands-on RF optimization or RAN performance experience.
Knowledge of Radio Access Networks, wireless cellular networks, and radio principles.
Understanding of 4G LTE and 5G NR concepts; both is a plus.
Programming experience in Python and ability to develop scripts and APIs.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applying them to testing and data analysis.
Willingness to learn cloud compute technologies and modern software delivery methods.

Responsibilities

Support early carrier development and NPI activities for Ericsson RAN solutions.
Design, document, and execute test cases from product requirements.
Configure lab and field environments for feature testing and integration.
Troubleshoot failures using logs, measurements, and traces; document defects.
Collaborate with project managers and product teams on test planning.
Develop scripts to automate testing, data collection, and lab ops.
