Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a QC Engineer to join our team, focusing on test automation, scripting, and quality control processes across hardware, software, and firmware. You will collaborate with Product QA, FA, R&D, and manufacturing to investigate issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

You will validate burn-in programs, develop test plans for new Fortinet products, and maintain IQC testing and automation scripts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Experience with test automation, scripting, and QC processes.
Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, C, Perl, VBScript, or Robot Framework.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test automation and scripting solutions to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with QA, FA, R&D, CM, and cross-functional teams to investigate issues and drive corrective actions.
Validate burn-in test programs and ensure coverage, documentation, and stability across hardware/software/firmware.
Perform manual and automated testing, diagnostics, and debugging across multiple platforms.
Lead NPI quality validation including test plans, cases, and methodologies for new Fortinet products.
Review and maintain IQC testing, rework processes, and automation scripts; approve code changes.
