Job summary

Riverpoint Medical LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Operational Excellence (OPEX) projects using the Phase Gate process. You will ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining clear visibility on risks and decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus related technical background required.
  • 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with New Product Development (NPD) preferred.
  • FDA 510(k) process or regulatory submissions experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multiple NPI and OPEX projects from scoping through launch, following the Phase Gate process.
  • Develop project charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets; manage critical path and major workstreams.
  • Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate project plans and governance artifacts; run effective project meetings and decision forums.
  • Provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders, including progress, achievements, risks, and upcoming decisions.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks; create and maintain risk response plans and contingency actions.
  • Manage project changes (scope/timeline/resource) through clear impact assessment and documented decisions.
  • Escalate risks and decision points with clear recommendations aligned to portfolio priorities.
  • Support company initiatives and compliance activities in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and other regulatory requirements.
