Job summary

Navitas Semiconductor is seeking a driven new graduate to join the NPI Program Management team in Torrance, CA. You will help coordinate GaN/SiC power product introductions from kickoff through qualification and production handoff.

You will learn gate processes, maintain schedules, and collaborate with R&D, process engineering, applications, quality, operations, and supply chain to ensure on-time milestones while leveraging AI tools for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and progressively own NPI program execution for GaN and SiC power product introductions.

• Execute the Navitas NPI gate review process and ensure timely closure of actions.
• Coordinate NPI deliverables across R&D, process engineering, applications, quality, operations, and supply chain.

• Support supplier and foundry NPI coordination.
• Build and maintain NPI program status reports and dashboards using Microsoft 365.

This role is specifically focused on New Product Introduction — the structured process of taking a GaN or SiC power product from early development through qualification and commercial launch. As an entry-level NPI Program Manager, you will be mentored by experienced NPI leaders while taking on real ownership of program coordination, milestone tracking, and cross-functional execution from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and progressively own NPI program execution for GaN and SiC power product introductions — coordinating all activities from program kickoff through product qualification, release, and production handoff.Own and maintain detailed NPI program schedules, milestone trackers, risk logs, and action item registers across assigned programs; proactively flag schedule risks and drive resolution.Execute the Navitas NPI gate review process — preparing gate packages, coordinating review logistics, tracking gate entry/exit criteria, and ensuring timely closure of open actions.Coordinate NPI deliverables across all contributing functions — R&D, process engineering, applications, quality, operations, and supply chain — ensuring each team meets their NPI commitments on schedule.Track product qualification milestones including design reviews, characterization, reliability testing, and qualification sign-off; escalate delays or gaps to the NPI program lead.Support supplier and foundry NPI coordination — monitoring sample delivery schedules, tracking qualification lot status, and documenting supplier action items.Build and maintain NPI program status reports and dashboards; prepare regular updates for internal stakeholders and leadership using Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Planner.Apply AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to accelerate NPI documentation, status reporting, and cross-functional communication.Contribute to continuous improvement of Navitas NPI processes, templates, checklists, and tracking tools.Build working knowledge of GaN and SiC device technology, power product design, and semiconductor qualification standards to strengthen NPI program contributions over time.Minimum QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering required; recent graduatePrior internship, co-op, or research experience in the semiconductor, power electronics, or hardware product development industry.Exposure to NPI, stage-gate, or structured product development processes through coursework, internship, or senior capstone project.Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, semiconductor devices, or power electronics through coursework or academic projects.Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously — through capstone projects, research, student organizations, or internship experience.Strong attention to detail and follow-through; ability to track numerous open action items across teams without losing visibility.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite including Excel (pivot tables, data organization, tracking), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.Familiarity with task and project management tools such as Microsoft Planner, Asana, Jira, or Smartsheet for tracking NPI milestones and action items.Working knowledge of AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude for documentation, reporting, and research support.Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize complex program status clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with GaN, Silicon Carbide (SiC), or Wide Bandgap (WBG) power semiconductor technologies, device types, or process flows.Awareness of semiconductor qualification standards such as JEDEC, AEC-Q100/Q101, or reliability test methods.Experience with data analysis or visualization tools such as Excel advanced functions, Power BI, or equivalent for tracking and communicating program data.Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet for managing complex, multi-dependency task plans.Coursework or research in power conversion, electrification (EV, data center, renewable energy), or AI hardware systems.Experience leading or coordinating group projects in an academic or professional setting, with demonstrated ownership and accountability.
