Job summary

Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test Division seeks a dynamic Process Engineer for PCBA structural test development. You will design and implement test solutions, ensuring product quality and reliability across cross-functional teams.

You’ll work on flying probe, ICT and fixture-related activities to enable production readiness. The role requires a engineering degree and 5+ years in PCB testing, with proficiency in ICT development and PC board layout considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electronics preferred).
• 5+ years in printed circuit board assembly testing.
• Proficiency with In-Circuit Test development on platforms such as Teradyne Test Station or equivalent.
• Experience with ICT Fixture development and fabrication process.
• Experience with measurement techniques and CP/CPK statistics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with Hardware Dev groups to develop structural test strategies for PCBs at quality gates.
• Collaborate with SW/HW/Pilot Lines/Operations in test development planning and execution.
• Influence PCB component selection, schematic and layout to meet quality and testing objectives.
• Drive contract manufacturing for Flying Probe and ICT development including quotes and releases.
• Innovate methods to improve gate processes, efficiencies and best practices.
