Job summary

FabrinetWest seeks a Test Process Engineer to develop and update test flows and process instructions, monitor daily yields, and deploy new test stations at customer sites. You will qualify testers before production release and support actions to meet customers’ expectations.

The role requires SMT/X-Ray/PCBA testing knowledge, 1–5 years in contract manufacturing, and strong communication and English technical writing skills. Training and cross-team collaboration are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with Keysight ICT test (Agilent legacy).
• Familiar with SMT, X-Ray, and structural tests.
• PCBA knowledge and experience on network/optical networks (preferred).
• 1–5 years CM experience on test processes.
• Electrical/Computer engineering BS with 5+ years in contract manufacturing in NPI and production phases.
• Computer programming/scripting skills.
• Good communication skills, and ability to read and write technical reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Develops solutions to technical problems using engineering principles and concepts.
• Supervise subordinates to perform their functions.
• Receive assignments and guidance from project leaders and engineering managers.
• Install approved software on test equipment and read simple test scripts.
• Meet customer expectations and drive actions to satisfy them.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Maintain test equipment for PM and calibration.
