Apple in Cupertino, California, is seeking a New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) to launch products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. NPIs are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple’s products.

The role leads OEM operations, plans capacity, and drives ramp readiness with engineering, operations and OEM teams, influencing manufacturability and cost while ensuring supply chain readiness. Travel up to 30-35% is required.

• Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost.
• Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.
• Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality.
• Leading all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.

The New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) launches products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. NPIs are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple’s products. A successful NPI is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Furthermore, we lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development team and other functional organizations within Apple.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development
• Results oriented and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management.
• Ability to travel up to 30-35%.
• Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience.
• BS degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or MBA or equivalent are considered a plus

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
