Job summary
SynQor is seeking an NPI Mechanical Technician to assist the New Product Introduction team with machining and assembling components and fixtures for manufacturing. You will also maintain equipment, requisition materials, and train others in basic machining tasks.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing assembly equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production to ensure smooth workflow while promoting safe work practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must have a High School diploma or GED or vocational training.
- Associates degree in electronics or mechanics preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment in a timely manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assembly equipment.
- Support Production to keep product flowing.
- Support and advance safe work practices.
- Suggest improvements to streamline manufacturing flow.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams.
