Job summary

Alentra seeks an Advanced Engineering Manufacturing Engineer to drive New Product Introduction from concept through production launch in our New York area facility. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and scalable processes, while shaping tooling, automation, and cost targets.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on molding experience, PFMEA and process validation knowledge, and strong documentation and problem-solving skills to lead readiness, training, and smooth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or NPI.
• Experience with injection molding or blow molding preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing readiness for NPI projects from kickoff to production release.
• Evaluate manufacturability, tooling, packaging, automation, equipment, labor needs, and process capability.
• Develop cost estimates for labor, tooling, packaging, automation, machinery, and processes.
• Define, qualify, and validate new manufacturing equipment and processes, including PFMEA, IQ, OQ, and PQ support.
• Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, project records, and production handoff documentation.
• Support production launch through operator training, launch metric monitoring, and transition to ongoing operations.
• Prepare and evaluate RFQ packages for packaging, automation, and post-processing equipment.
• Manage project scope, action items, due dates, and communication throughout development and launch.
