Job summary

XTEND in Tampa is seeking an NPI Engineer to act as a technical bridge between R&D and mass production. In this role, you will ensure engineering designs are scalable and high-quality, lead NPI activities, and manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in engineering/NPI roles supporting multidisciplinary products.
• Strong hands-on experience with PCBAs and complex integrated systems.
• High proficiency reading schematics, CAD models, and complex engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison between engineering and production teams.
• Lead NPI activities from prototype phase through mass production.
• Define Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) features and manage First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
