Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a New Product Integration (NPI) Engineer to establish robust, repeatable manufacturing specifications for new designs throughout the development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with NPI Project Leads, provide routing recommendations, determine manufacturing offsets, and verify process calculations while aligning Hard Prototypes and Production Test Runs with critical CRD requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5 years of related experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
• Proficiency with CAD software (Rhino, Solidworks, Mastercam)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and OneNote)

Responsibilities

• Commit to safe work procedures and site safety regulations.
• Support the NPI process for new products and dual-sourcing projects.
• Lead engineering phases during development and support manufacturing post-launch.
• Create product-specific work instructions with manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate on initial plans and process maps.
• Provide timely engineering updates throughout development.
• Define tasks for approved manufacturing processes.
• Compile technical data for status reports and presentations.
• Maintain historical data libraries to optimize future projects.
• Reduce developmental trial-and-error using baseline metrics.
