Job summary

Mini-Circuits in Melville, NY designs, manufactures and distributes RF/microwave solutions. The NPI Buyer/Planner II owns multiple NPI programs, managing procurement and material planning from prototype through production handoff for the MMIC unit.

You will ensure material readiness, supplier accountability and cost control, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Quality and Business Units to maintain launch readiness and supply continuity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum five years of experience in NPI, procurement, material planning, or supply chain within global manufacturing.
Experience managing multiple NPI programs and coordinating cross-functional activities from prototype through production launch.
Strong knowledge of procurement, material planning, inventory management, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
Experience with planning and purchasing electronic components; ERP/MRP proficiency and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Own multiple MMIC NPI programs from prototype builds through production handoff.
Lead end-to-end NPI procurement activities, including supplier selection support and PO execution.
Develop material supply plans balancing forecasts, capacity, inventory, lead times and schedules.
Monitor inventory, material availability and supply continuity while minimizing shortages and obsolescence.
Drive cost control, supplier readiness and mitigation of supply risks across programs.
