Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking an NPI Buyer/Planner I/II/III to manage purchasing of components for New Product Introductions and to act as the logistics link between Value Streams, Supervisors, Marketing, Master Scheduler, and Purchasing.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery, optimize inventory, and support transitional production from development to operations, with exposure to ITAR-controlled data.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage MRPs with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.
• Communicate priorities and schedule changes to suppliers and internal teams.
• Own inventory action plans to optimize turns for NPI components.
• Negotiate blanket purchase orders and drive cost reductions with suppliers.
