The NPDES/SWPPP Manager will lead and manage stormwater compliance efforts for our construction projects throughout the Omaha metro area and surrounding regions. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and ensuring full compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits. The role works closely with project managers, construction teams, and regulatory agencies to minimize environmental impacts from construction activities.
This position will require frequent site visits in varying weather conditions. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines or respond to compliance issues. Some out-of-town travel may be required.
The role requires the ability to walk construction sites for extended periods, work in outdoor environments, and occasionally carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds. Ability to navigate rough terrain and active construction sites is essential.
