Job summary

Allegion is seeking a NPD Procurement Manager in Carmel, IN to lead procurement activities for new product development in our electronic and mechanical portfolio. You will serve as the procurement representative on NPD projects in the Americas, driving strategies to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and Quality teams to ensure early supplier involvement and alignment with global manufacturing strategy to minimize production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business).
• 7+ years in Engineering, Supply Chain or Procurement with leadership.
• Experience with electronic component procurement and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Develop a NPD procurement strategy aligned with global manufacturing goals.
• Lead early supplier involvement and DFSS/DFMEA efforts with key suppliers.
• Drive cost targets through project cost tracking, negotiations, and schedules.
• Manage prototype component purchasing and supplier relationships.
• Deliver project milestones: cost, material, tooling, inventory, and quality.
