Job summary

MSA Safety seeks an enthusiastic engineering student to contribute to new product development across Fire Service, Respiratory Protection, Fall Protection, Head Protection, or Textiles. You will gain hands-on experience with lab testing, draft and prototype parts, and collaborate with international teams and suppliers while learning about budgets and manufacturing constraints.

Lead candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering at an ABET-accredited school

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering at an ABET-accredited school.
• Completed at least one semester of Sophomore year.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products across Fire Service, Respiratory Protection, Fall Protection, Head Protection, or Textiles.
• Perform hands-on testing with lab equipment.
• Draft, design, and prototype parts and systems.
• Collaborate with international teams and external suppliers.
• Understand budgetary, manufacturing, and sourcing limitations.
