Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD).
• Graduate preparation as a nurse practitioner in the population focus.
• Active, unencumbered Florida RN and APRN licensure.
• Current national certification in the population focus (FNP or PMHNP).
• Minimum of two years of teaching in a graduate nurse practitioner program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CCNE/CNEA accreditation compliance and program quality.
• Lead curriculum review and program evaluation with COPE; align with standards.
• Oversee clinical education, site approvals, and preceptor program.
• Serve as primary academic contact for students; address concerns promptly.
• Recruit and mentor full-time and adjunct faculty; manage course leads.
