Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a NP/PA – Urology for 1.0 FTE. The role provides advanced health assessment, independent and collaborative care, across clinic, hospital, and surgery settings, with opportunities to develop niche areas such as Men’s Health Clinic and Pelvic Floor Therapy.

The position offers a collaborative team with 5 APPs and 5 Physicians, and a typical schedule Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with 1 in 4 weekend call. Primary sites include St.

• CPR certification and national certification in the applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing prior to practice.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, caring for patients ranging in age. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Practice Specifics:

• Diverse opportunity to work in clinic, hospital and surgery
• Ideal candidate will have Surgical Assist skills, but not required
• Typical schedule will be Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm with a 1 in 4 Weekend Call Coverage Model (Call Pay Provided)
• Primary location: St. Mary’s Medical Center/Duluth Clinic/Miller Dwan Medical Center
• Future Outreach locations: Virginia Medical Center and St. Mary’s Hospital – Superior
