Job summary
Concentra in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our patient care team in occupational medicine. You will develop and implement nursing care plans in line with state laws and Concentra protocols, and you will collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care to our workforce.
The role requires a strong clinical background, state licensure, and a focus on safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in Nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university.
- Master’s Degree in nursing, physician assistant or related health field from an accredited college or university.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensed nurse practitioner/physician assistant in the state where employed.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications and treatments per protocols.
- Observes, records, and evaluates patient condition and drug reactions.
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures.
- May direct nursing care through staff and collaborates with physicians.
- Draws blood and prepares paperwork for lab submission.
- Maintains confidential employee health information and records.
