Optum AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Phoenix Metro, Arizona. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.
As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule, no on-call, and opportunities to grow within OptumCare.
Qualifications
- Unrestricted Arizona NP/PA license or ability to obtain by start date.
- National NP certification through AANC or AANP, or PA certification through NCCPA.
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain by start date.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain by start date.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a provider within primary care.
Responsibilities
- Support Medicare Advantage patients needing annual wellness visits at Optum Community Centers.
- Full-time, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; No on-call.
- See patients at Goodyear, Deer Valley, and Surprise Community Centers.
- Practice at the full scope of your license; manage about 10 patients per day.
