UW Health East Madison Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient and ambulatory care teams. The role is 100% FTE, five days a week, with hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and no weekends, holidays, or call.

You will conduct chart reviews, perform in-person and telehealth consults, coordinate with the Surgical Team and Pre-Anesthesia Medical Director, and order tests and medications as needed.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin NP or PA licensure is required.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to or upon hire.
• NP board certification in area of clinical practice (e.g., Adult, Adult/Gerontology, Family) or PA certification.
• Prescriptive authority is required for NP/PA practice in the state.

Responsabilités

• Conduct chart reviews to assess patient histories and care needs.
• Perform in-person, telehealth, and potential emergency in-person consults.
• Coordinate care with the Pre-Anesthesia Medical Director or Site Physician and Surgical Team.
• Order additional tests and medications as needed.
