Job summary

Alliance Spine & Pain Centers in Jasper, GA seeks a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our ambulatory surgery center team. Under physician supervision, you will perform histories and exams, develop diagnoses and treatment plans, and provide outpatient care for adults with acute and chronic pain conditions.

You will practice in a fast-paced setting, employing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, with emphasis on patient education, record-keeping, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with a master's degree.
• Current Georgia licensure and PA/NP certification with prescriptive authority.
• DEA license to prescribe; ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with EMR systems and basic Office software.

Responsibilities

• Under physician supervision, perform histories and physicals for adults.
• Develop working diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Provide outpatient care for patients with acute or chronic pain.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and coordinate with the physician.
• Educate patients on disease, treatments, and medications; document thoroughly.
• Maintain continuity of care and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support record keeping and appropriate chart documentation.
