Job summary

Southern Interventional Pain Center in Thomasville, GA is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team focused on chronic and acute pain management.

You will evaluate and treat patients, perform interventional procedures under physician supervision, and collaborate with our clinicians to provide evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA licensure in Georgia.
• Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience in pain management or related specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for pain patients.
• Perform/intervene with pain procedures under physician supervision.
• Prescribe and manage medications in compliance with regulations.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on pain management and follow-up care.

Southern Interventional Pain Center in Thomasville, GA is looking for a talented and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their dedicated team. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute pain conditions
• Perform and assist with interventional pain management procedures under physician supervision
• Prescribe and manage medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical examinations
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Educate patients and families on pain management strategies, treatment options, and follow-up care

Requirements:

• Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain)
• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or a related specialty preferred
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one required
• Strong knowledge of interventional pain procedures and chronic pain management protocols
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
