Job summary

Asante Ashland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Services department on a per diem basis in Ashland, Oregon. The candidate will work alongside physicians and other APPs to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited NP or PA program and hold OSBN/OSBN-equivalent licensure with privileges. Prior ED experience and current ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Active OSBN license as NP or RN license with NP privileging eligibility.
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges and provider for Medicare/Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent emergency department patient care per scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs in a fast-paced ED setting.

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our Emergency Department in Ashland, Oregon

Asante Ashland is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic group of physicians and advanced practice providers in our Emergency Services department.

Education

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage

Experience

Minimum of three years NP or PA experience in an Emergency Department is preferred. New grads will be considered.

License / Certification

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required. Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team (i.e. ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.); Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
