Clinical Shift Schedule

• Full-time night shift coverage; three 12-hour shifts per week

Shift Hours

• 7:00p – 7:30a (includes sign-out to oncoming shift)

Patient Information

• Patient Demographics: Adult ICU patients
• Patient Volume/Census: Typical APP-to-patient ratio of 10–15 ICU patients per APP
• Admissions: Medical and surgical ICU admissions
• Rounding: Included each shift
• Case Mix: Critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting

• Office Equipment Available: Standard ICU and procedural equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Attending intensivists and specialty consultants
