Job summary

Concentra, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Clinical Manager to provide primary medical direction and coordinate professional healthcare services in a clinical setting. The role reports to the Regional Medical Director and aligns with Concentra policies and medical protocols.

The position involves leading a center team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing operations within regular hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with bonuses tied to performance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Spends 100% of time in a center providing direct patient care, leading by example.
• Participates in managing medical treatment activities of the center and coordinating with other centers.
• Ensures clinical policies are implemented and documentation is timely and accurate.
• Mentors back office staff and supports continuous education and training.
• Ensures compliance with licensure, certification, and accreditation.
• Leads hiring processes for center staff and oversees budgetary reporting.
