Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join a physician-aligned team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in Tennessee. The APC will support both outpatient and inpatient services with strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include performing H&P exams, ordering tests, coordinating with the attending team, and documenting care plans. Requires 1 year of healthcare experience and TN NP/PA licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or higher.
• TN licensure as NP or PA is required/active.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; document results in medical records.
• Coordinate daily clinic schedule with physicians and care teams.
• Develop and implement care plans and document progress notes.
• Prescribe diagnostic strategies and therapies within scope of practice.
• Perform/assist in procedures within privileges and competency.
• Maintain professional development and participate in rounds and meetings.
