Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Orthopedic Medicine to join our Grand Junction clinic. You will work with a team of orthopedic surgeons and APPs, providing care in the Orthopedic Walk-In Services, with scheduled clinic hours and up to 20 hours per week in a PRN capacity. Shifts run 8:00 a.m.

– 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Requirements include at least 2 years of direct orthopedic clinical experience, strong procedural skills, and an active Colorado

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in direct clinical orthopedic experience.
• Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
• Active Colorado license; BLS certification and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during scheduled clinic hours at the Orthopedic Walk-In Services in Grand Junction, CO.
• Perform minor procedures such as reductions, joint injections, laceration repair and wound care, splinting and casting.
• Evaluate and treat a range of orthopedic injuries and conditions in a PRN capacity (up to 20 hours/week).
