Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to provide patient-centered, coordinated care within a hospital setting. You will collaborate with the care team to assess, plan, and implement care for patients with health and safety needs.

The NP should be familiar with research and hematology; myeloma experience is preferred. Requires master’s/doctoral NP degree, NJ licensure, NPI, prescriptive authority, and a collaborative physician agreement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
  • Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
  • Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Job description

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.

The Nurse Practitioner should be familiar with research and hematology. Myeloma experience preferred.

Minimum rate of $153,649.60 Annually
