Citizens Memorial Hospital’s Central Care Cancer Center in southwest Missouri seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our oncology team. This role emphasizes meaningful patient relationships and a collaborative, team-based practice with structured clinic hours and no evenings or weekends.

The position offers autonomy within a supportive environment, extensive patient education, and opportunities to participate in comprehensive cancer care alongside medical oncologists.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in NP is required.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner status is required.
• Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply and training in oncology is available.

• Establish and maintain meaningful rapport with patients and families.
• Perform evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and side effect management.

Central Care Cancer Center at the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center provides comprehensive medical oncology, hematology, and radiation oncology services to patients across an eight-county region in southwest Missouri.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our established oncology team in a relationship-centered, highly collaborative environment.
