Job summary

The Children's Guild in Baltimore is seeking a compassionate Classroom Aide to provide one-on-one support to students with autism and other special needs, helping them access learning in a caring, structured setting.

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement IEP goals, participate in professional development, and support crisis de-escalation as needed. The role offers a Mon-Fri schedule, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (experience in special education preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs or autism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Engage in family outreach and school-based activities.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement IEP goals.
