Meadow Hill Behavioral Health seeks a part-time NP/APRN to deliver psychiatric care for adolescents (12–18) via telehealth. The role emphasizes evidence-based, trauma-informed behavioral health services for teens and families.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, manage psychotropic medications when appropriate, and provide follow-up visits remotely, coordinating with therapists and the care team while maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Competenze

• Current Nurse Practitioner or APRN license with psychiatric/mental health certification preferred.
• Experience providing behavioral health or psychiatric care to adolescents, ideally in outpatient or telehealth settings.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills for mood, anxiety, and other adolescent mental health conditions.
• Comfort with medication management, including psychopharmacology for youth, and familiarity with evidence-based guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage teens and families in care.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms; ability to work remotely in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care for diverse backgrounds.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing; Board certification and DEA registration as required.
• CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with state/federal adolescent mental health regulations.

Role Description

This part-time, remote NP/APRN role focuses on delivering high-quality behavioral health care to adolescents ages 12-18. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing and updating treatment plans, prescribing and managing psychotropic medications when appropriate, and providing follow-up visits via telehealth. The NP/APRN collaborates closely with therapists, counselors, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and monitor treatment progress. Additional duties may include documenting clinical encounters in the electronic health record, participating in case reviews, providing psychoeducation to teens and families, and ensuring adherence to clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or APRN license in applicable state(s), with psychiatric/mental health certification strongly preferred.
• Experience providing behavioral health or psychiatric care to adolescents, ideally in outpatient or telehealth settings.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills for mood, anxiety, and other common adolescent mental health conditions.
• Comfort with medication management, including psychopharmacology for youth, and familiarity with evidence-based treatment guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with teens and engage families or caregivers in care.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and basic digital documentation workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care; sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and identities.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program; Board certification and DEA registration as required.
• CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with relevant state and federal regulations for adolescent mental health care.
