Home Instead is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers in Ames, IA to help older adults stay safe and comfortable at home. Part-time shifts include mornings, afternoons, and evenings to fit your life.

Starting wage is $17 per hour with a weekend shift premium, paid orientation, ongoing training, and benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) with company match. Opportunities for extra hours and 24/7 on-call support are available.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience or a passion for helping older adults.
• Reliable, consistent part-time schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks with compassion.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility and help with daily routines.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Transport to appointments or run errands as needed.
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement to clients.

Part-Time Shifts Available

We're hiring caregivers with consistent availability during one or more of these shifts:

• Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Evening: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
