Job summary

Tetherow Resort is seeking Group Fitness Instructors to provide energetic and motivating workouts in a beautiful setting in Bend, OR. You will be responsible for delivering classes, ensuring a safe and fun environment for members, and communicating effectively with the Fitness Manager.

This role requires a current Fitness Instruction Certification and experience teaching group fitness. Join our team to inspire others and enjoy employee perks including meals and discounts!

Qualifications

• Current Fitness Instruction Certification is required.
• Experience teaching group fitness classes is essential.
• Ability to train all levels from novice to elite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workouts with an energetic attitude.
• Ensure members have a safe and positive experience.
• Adhere to class descriptions and modify intensity when necessary.
• Provide modifications to meet members' needs.
• Continuously monitor exercise intensity throughout the class.
• Ensure class begins and ends on time.
• Communicate with the Fitness Manager on feedback and equipment status.

Who you are…

• You are positive, motivating and have effective interpersonal communication skills
• You love to have fun while you’re at work
• You enjoy going above and beyond for your team and guests
• You have the desire and capacity to train all levels – novice to elite
• You possess a current Fitness Instruction Certification
• You have experience teaching group fitness classes
  

What you’ll do…

• Deliver workouts with an energetic attitude
• Ensure members have a safe and positive experience
• Adhere to the description of the class and modify the intensity when necessary
• Provide modifications to our exercise to meet our members needs
• Continuously monitor the exercise intensity thought out the duration of the class
• Ensure class begins and ends on time
• Communicate with the Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and subbing
