Qualifications

• Able to follow directions verbally and as written.
• Ability to attend work as scheduled.
• Ability to read and write basic English.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Portion food for meals, snacks, and beverages following specific procedures.
• Prepare texture-modified and therapeutic diets safely and accurately.
• Serving food ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
• Use appropriate tools when preparing/serving food and recording temperatures of the food.
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols.
• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with general cleaning of kitchen, appliances and dishes.
• Other duties related to food and nutrition as assigned
