Job summary

New Day Recovery is seeking a Full Time Dietary Aide in Shreveport, LA to support inpatient/outpatient meals and campus operations. You will prepare meals, ensure safe handling, follow Serve Safe standards, and keep stock organized to support compassionate care for patients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• State approved Food Handlers Certification.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for inpatient and outpatient clients.
• Clean equipment according to schedule.
• Follow daily census for meal planning.
• Complete food service inspections for safe handling.
• Maintain stockroom, freezer, and coolers.
• Rotate stock by date system.
• Stock food according to Serve Safe Standards.
• Follow DHH and CARF standards and guidelines.
• Complete Relias monthly training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Facility Administrator or Program Director.
