Feeding Southwest Virginia is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping. The role requires forklift experience and a commitment to food safety and community nutrition.

The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety protocols. A Driver’s license and forklift certification are required within six months, with competitive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with food handling and warehousing is preferred.
• Forklift certification within six months of employment is required or must be obtained.

Responsabilités

• Assist in receiving, put-away, shipping and inventory control.
• Tag pallets with codes, cases and weights.
• Operate and maintain MHE vehicles per procedure.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety per guidelines.
• Support the Operations Team to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
