Job summary

Feeding Southwest Virginia is seeking a Distribution Clerk/Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, Agency Express management, and accurate shipping/receiving of food products. You will perform cycle counts, assist in invoices, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

The role requires forklift certification, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience operating warehouse equipment with MHE certification.
• 1-2 years of strong customer service preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations and Agency Express management.
• Assist in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping per procedures.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety per guidelines.
• Process invoices and verify accuracy of pickups and loads.
• Assist in local food drives and special events as needed.
• Provide professional, courteous interactions with staff, agencies, and public.
