Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance and Outsourced Accounting with deep not-for-profit experience to lead client engagements, manage monthly close, and deliver high-quality financial insights to clients and committees.

You will mentor teams, oversee staffing and billing, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology while ensuring compliance with firm standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 8+ years in accounting and finance, including significant not-for-profit experience
• Experience leading client engagements and managing teams
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Proven problem-solving skills with critical thinking and execution
• Proficiency with financial management systems and related technologies
• Adaptability and a continuous-improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from planning through execution and delivery
• Manage monthly close and consulting projects
• Present financial results to client management and committees
• Oversee client invoicing processes and collections
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members
• Assist with staffing, resource planning, and utilization
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology for efficiency
• Ensure engagements comply with firm standards and metrics
