Job summary

PKF O’Connor Davies in Stamford, CT is seeking an Audit Senior Associate or Supervisor to join our Not-for-Profit practice. You will work with a variety of not-for-profit organizations, manage audit engagements, build strong client relationships, and support junior team members.

Experience with independent schools is a plus. The role requires leading and coordinating not-for-profit audits, ensuring adherence to GAAS and GAAP, and supervising staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting required.
• Not-for-profit audit experience preferred.
• Ability to lead engagements at Supervisor level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute not-for-profit audit engagements.
• Evaluate internal controls and communicate recommendations.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers and financial statements.
• Coordinate day-to-day engagement activities and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and coach team members.
• Take greater oversight responsibilities at Supervisor level.
• Travel up to 60% to clients in NYC, NJ, and the Fairfield, CT area.
• Work in-office at least 3 days per week.
