Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Network / System Engineer III for a leading financial services organization. The role is based in Plano, TX with a secondary Jersey City, NJ, focusing on designing, deploying, and maintaining NoSQL clusters on Linux to support critical applications.

You will work in the Infrastructure Support Department, applying DevOps practices and scripting (Python, Shell, Ansible) to provide advanced troubleshooting for high availability, performance, and security.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
Proficiency in managing NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, SingleStore, CockroachDB, Redis.
Strong background in DevOps practices and scripting languages like Python, Shell, and Ansible.
Experience supporting distributed database environments in production.
Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain NoSQL clusters on Linux.
Manage multiple development, QA, and production environments for NoSQL databases.
Implement and optimize distributed database solutions for high availability, performance, and security.
Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools for database operations.
Provide advanced support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
