Scoot Education is seeking a Substitute Teacher to support Northwest Houston schools. You will supervise students, follow lesson plans, and maintain a safe learning environment while collaborating with school staff.

The role offers paid training opportunities, weekly paychecks via direct deposit, and potential career growth within Scoot Education. Teaching credentials and/or relevant experience are a plus, with a focus on positive student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits required.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans left by the teacher and manage routines and transitions.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.
• Leave notes or feedback for the returning teacher.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary forday-to-day assignments and is typicallymore for long-term placements.Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.
