Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a senior-level Manager to lead the Drinking Water Practice across the Northwest. The role oversees a team of individual contributors and people managers, guiding day-to-day execution with emphasis on technical quality, timely delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

This position partners with NW Area leaders to drive growth, development, and client service for major water suppliers, including PFAS planning, groundwater and surface water design, and climate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering required.
• 8+ years in environmental engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain in WA/OR.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Experience leading drinking water projects with municipal clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing environmental team.
• Oversee workload planning and resource alignment.
• Ensure technical quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for the NW Drinking Water Practice.
• Collaborate with NW Area leaders on growth and business development.
• Engage with major water suppliers on planning/design projects.
