Job summary

The City and County of Denver is seeking a Northwest Denver Community Connector to join the Office of Community & Business Engagement. This full-time role focuses on engaging residents, building relationships, and advancing equity in Northwest Denver through CALC programming and active transportation initiatives.

You will lead outreach, coordinate volunteers, and support program evaluation and grant deliverables, spending a portion of time in community settings to ensure authentic engagement and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Management, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, or related field.
• Three years of professional or technical experience planning programs and coordinating participants/volunteers.
• One year per year substitution may be allowed for education.

Responsibilities

• Lead community engagement and outreach programs in Northwest Denver.
• Plan and deliver CALC engagement goals and program evaluation.
• Support DOTI’s Safe Routes to School efforts in NW CALC areas through education and outreach.
• Provide strategic guidance to DOTI project managers for equitable outreach planning.
• Write progress reports and develop grant deliverables.
