Job summary

The City and County of Denver is seeking a CALC Program Administrator to support the Safe Routes to School initiative. This full-time role focuses on engaging school communities, coordinating with Denver Public Schools, and advancing equity-led transportation projects.

You will work a hybrid schedule, with three days in-office at the Wellington Webb Building and two remote days, coordinating with OCBE and DOTI to ensure effective outreach.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in community engagement related to youth and schools.
• Experience communicating across diverse teams and partners.
• Ability to plan and deliver outreach events.
• Experience with Safe Routes to School is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with schools, teachers, and Denver Public Schools administration to lead engagement for Safe Routes to School programs.
• Coordinate with OCBE and DOTI staff to provide guidance and support for engagement and education aspects of the program.
• Lead or co-lead policy, systems, and equity-focused change efforts with community partners.
• Prepare grant documentation and progress reporting, including summaries and sustainability plans.
• Plan, deliver, and support CALC engagement and programming goals and activities.
• Supervise up to 2 part-time Safe Routes Advocates.
