Lennar, a leading homebuilder, is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager for the Northern VA market. The role oversees identifying land opportunities, guiding due diligence, and coordinating with legal and finance to align with long-term plans.

Candidate should have a strong background in land acquisition, real estate principles, and negotiation, with excellent communication and organizational skills to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, engineering, accounting, finance or similar preferred.
• 3 years of Land Acquisition experience highly preferred.
• Proficient in computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets and scheduling software.
• Effective and concise communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential land acquisition targets via tax maps and brokers.
• Facilitate due diligence and schedule activities for contracted projects.
• Participate in weekly land acquisition meetings and report updates.
• Assist in rezoning and attend meetings with government officials and engineers.
• Maintain inventory reports, maps, and market analyses.
• Collaborate with VP of Land and Finance to keep the 5-year plan current.
