Qualifications

The Regional Manager, Patient Access, oversees the administrative operations of patient care within the field, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and top-tier patient satisfaction. This role acts as the key liaison between revenue cycle functions, the Hanger Resource Center, and regional, local administrative and clinical leadership. The manager reviews and monitors financial and operational results, providing strategic guidance to improve performance. Ensuring smooth operations and addressing barriers to access, this leader facilitates a positive patient experience and supports outcomes. The role also involves maintaining relationships with referrals, managed markets, and payors. This is a regional remote opportunity. Candidates must reside in the N.Cal/N. Nevada region with up to 80% travel within the region.



Your Impact
  • Oversee administrative clinic operations to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction. Ensure workflows and processes are properly followed.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals aligned with company objectives.
  • Supervise Area Managers responsible for patient access staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to fill staff vacancies promptly with qualified Patient Access Coordinators.
  • Create an engaging work environment that promotes employee growth and high-quality patient care. Monitor quality assurance metrics like Net Promoter Score and Outcomes.
  • Support budget management, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost controls. Manage systems such as ADP and Catalyst.
  • Oversee WIP management processes and support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure financial controls and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Drive effective use of front office systems, including system upgrades and new tools.
  • Communicate payer updates, issues, or risks to the revenue cycle team.
  • Coordinate with partners in the Hanger Resource Center (Real Estate, IT, HR, Finance, etc.) to address information and service needs.
  • Enforce HIPAA Privacy Rules to safeguard patient information.
  • Travel within the region (up to 80%) to clinics and meetings.

Perform other administrative, project, system, and analytical duties as needed.

  • Manage special projects as directed by regional leadership.
  • Lead activities related to customer service excellence and patient relations programs.
  • Influence costs, methods, and staffing decisions.
  • Report results and strategies to regional leadership.
  • Follow strategic guidance from the Regional Director/Vice President.


Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in business administration, therapy, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of healthcare operations management experience, preferably in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
  • At least 7 years of experience hiring, supervising, and coaching staff.
  • Experience managing in a multi-site environment is preferred.

  • Regional Remote: Salary range of $100,000-$130,000 plus bonus and benefits. Salary varies based on skills, location, and other factors.
