Job summary

Apple, Inc. in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a senior Manager to develop policy and strategy and lead Apple’s interactions with state legislators. You will work with the Government Affairs team to shape state policy and engage with lawmakers across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in government, government relations, or advocacy at the state/local level working in/with executive and legislative offices and with extensive knowledge of the legislative process.
• Experience leading a portfolio of policy issues and coordinating policy-focused events.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement public policy initiatives and engagement strategies with state and local lobbyists.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key partners, as well as with industry trade associations, legislative and executive organizations and related nonprofit groups.
• Effectively communicate policy priorities and provide feedback on policy initiatives.
• Draft policy and background materials for relevant meetings and engagement.
• Travel extensively, both within your state territory and nationally across all 50 states. During session, expect an average of 2-5 trips per month.
